About The Position
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Desktop Metal is responsible for supporting design engineering during the prototyping phase and facilitating the transition to manufacturing. This role involves defining product structures, ensuring designs are manufacturable, and developing assembly procedures and jigs. The engineer will also coordinate with internal teams and contract manufacturers to ensure effective communication and efficient production transfer, while managing process improvements and BOM verification.
