About the position

The Milwaukee team is seeking an experienced marketing leader to drive business growth through effective communication and storytelling. This role involves collaboration with various teams to create compelling marketing content, manage a team, and ensure the successful acquisition of new business. The ideal candidate will possess strong executive communication skills and a passion for writing, while also being responsible for developing marketing strategies and overseeing proposal processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with work acquisition leaders to establish content calendars and set goals.
• Produce a variety of marketing materials including stories, posts, emails, and presentations.
• Create and oversee differentiated communication tools such as infographics and customer presentations.
• Facilitate the proposal and content creation processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Act as the principal editor on all proposals and implement a structured review process.
• Guide the team in refining strategies for the proposal process and content best practices.
• Develop and execute the marketing strategy and implementation plan, measuring results and making adjustments.
• Manage the career development of two team members and lead by example.
• Optimize the marketing budget and leverage resources to achieve business objectives.
• Generate insights for thought leadership and brand building strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications Studies, Technical Scientific Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of seven years of experience in business development, marketing, B2B writing, content marketing or sales enablement.
• Demonstrated proficiency in writing content for business-to-business audiences.
• Experience managing team performance and career progression.
• Strong ability to create PowerPoint messages and visuals.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a professional services industry (versus product companies).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with a good understanding of graphic layout and visual hierarchy.
• Experience in Salesforce.com and OneNote.
