About the position

The position involves leading the strategic vision and market opportunities for a brand, product, or service, focusing on pricing, profitability analysis, and marketing activities. The role requires collaboration with multi-functional teams and agency partners to develop and implement high-impact marketing strategies that align with company objectives. The individual will serve as a program or product owner, responsible for the development, design, and execution of marketing initiatives, while also mentoring other market managers and ensuring alignment with market trends and segment needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic vision and market opportunities for a brand, product, or service.
  • Conduct pricing and profitability analysis to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams and agency partners on marketing activities.
  • Develop and drive high-risk, high-opportunity marketing strategies.
  • Identify business opportunities and manage major business initiatives through research and analysis.
  • Serve as program or product owner, accountable for development and execution.
  • Collaborate with market managers and communications teams to ensure effective program positioning and promotion.
  • Manage agency resources and consulting engagements to achieve marketing success.
  • Work closely with senior management to identify market opportunities and prioritize programs.
  • Mentor other market managers and communication managers, demonstrating best practices in marketing.
  • Establish goals and set targets to measure program success for the market segment.
  • Partner with business areas to execute and gain adoption of programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent training, education, and experience.
  • Six years of experience in product or brand management.
  • Advanced understanding of brand management concepts and execution techniques.
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience managing large projects.
  • Proven track record of influencing constituents for optimal results.
  • Excellent organization skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Flexible and able to quickly change priorities and direction.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • Ability to write and present clear and concise reports.
