About the position

The position at Civil Design Inc. involves leading the proposal development process, coordinating with various teams to create marketing materials, and managing internal and external communications. The role is essential for ensuring that the company's proposals and marketing efforts are well-organized, visually appealing, and effectively communicate the firm's capabilities and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination of the proposal development process (RFP/RFQ) between the Client Relations Team, Service Leaders, and clients.
• Create and manage a proposal development process, including supporting information for proposals.
• Support the development and implementation of proposal schedules and timelines.
• Coordinate final production of proposals, including word processing, graphics, proofreading, editing, printing, collation, and binding.
• Prepare project interview materials, including marketing books and presentations.
• Collaborate with the Client Relations Team and President to manage promotional items.
• Design, edit, and deliver marketing-related advertisements and promotions.
• Update and maintain the diversity matrix.
• Create visually appealing layouts and design templates using InDesign and other programs.
• Update the website and internal SharePoint with current projects and photos.
• Coordinate, draft, and edit all external communications and announcements.
• Support the company's social media presence and coordinate digital signage design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in supporting marketing and communications, specifically in proposal development related to RFPs/RFQs (preferred).
• Experience in construction, engineering, or a related industry (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency or strong interest in photography.
• Experience creating in InDesign Adobe.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in corporate social media management (LinkedIn, etc.).
• Knowledge of project management and client relations.
