As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in a role focused on conference and event marketing. This position will involve collaborating closely with the marketing and business development teams to prepare budgets, set deadlines, and create innovative concepts that align with our conference and event objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing budgets, schedules, and logistics for our conferences and events program, ensuring that all aspects are executed flawlessly. In this role, you will select and negotiate with vendors, monitoring their activities to ensure quality control throughout the event planning process. You will also manage the promotions, communications, and branding aspects of our conferences and events, preparing detailed reports and presenting them to management post-event. Additionally, you will provide marketing support by maintaining an inventory and directory of company store business development support giveaways, coordinating the creation of new materials as needed. Conducting research to analyze the competitive landscape, market trends, and customer behavior will also be a key responsibility, as you prepare reports by collecting, summarizing, and analyzing data. Furthermore, you will assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance our online presence and engage with our audiences effectively. This position requires a proactive individual who can work under pressure, meet deadlines, and contribute to the overall success of our marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing coordination, event planning, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in conference and event marketing.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software/tools.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and online marketing strategies.
  • Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations.
  • Valid Driver's License.
