As the Senior Marketing Event Manager at S&P Global, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial and marketing strategy through the execution of in-person events. This position is crucial for supporting demand generation, retention, and enhancing brand recognition. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of event management, from conceptualizing and developing event themes to executing logistics and measuring outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in organizing a variety of events, including executive round tables, partner/customer sponsorships, and large-scale trade shows and conferences, all aimed at building sales pipelines and driving brand awareness. In this role, you will manage all logistical aspects of planning and hosting in-person events. This includes project management from start to finish, which encompasses strategic engagement, planning logistics, coordinating guest attendance, and developing pre/post-event communication plans. You will also be responsible for tracking costs and managing budgets effectively. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with internal teams to support team meetings and internal initiatives, while also overseeing the swag strategy to ensure memorable takeaways for event attendees. Success in this position requires a high level of initiative, organization, and the ability to think strategically while also executing tasks effectively. You will need to communicate clearly and negotiate well with various internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all event details are meticulously planned and executed. A strong background in vendor management is also essential to deliver top-notch events that align with the Mastermind brand and vision.
