As the Senior Marketing Event Manager at S&P Global, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial and marketing strategy through the execution of in-person events. This position is crucial for supporting demand generation, retention, and enhancing brand recognition. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of event management, from conceptualizing and planning to executing and measuring the success of various events, including executive round tables, partner/customer sponsorships, and large-scale trade shows and conferences. Your efforts will directly contribute to building the sales pipeline and driving brand awareness. In this role, you will manage all logistics associated with planning and hosting in-person events. This includes project management tasks such as strategic engagement, theme development, logistics planning, guest coordination, and pre/post-event communication. You will also be responsible for tracking costs and managing budgets effectively. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with internal teams to support team meetings and internal initiatives, while also owning the swag strategy to ensure memorable takeaways for event attendees. Success in this position requires a high level of initiative, organization, and the ability to think strategically while also executing tasks effectively. You will need to communicate clearly and negotiate well with various internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all project details are meticulously planned and executed. A strong background in vendor management is essential to deliver top-notch events that align with the Mastermind brand and vision.
