About the position

The Senior Marketing Events Manager at Cribl is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of the company's marquee industry trade shows. This role is crucial for driving brand awareness, generating leads, and engaging with target audiences. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, analytical, and passionate about event management, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage Cribl's marquee corporate trade shows from end-to-end, including strategy, goals, and objectives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage timelines and deliverables for trade show content and promotions.
• Direct on-site booth set-ups and teardowns, including training and debriefing sessions for staff.
• Deliver post-event reports analyzing data, performance against goals, and recommendations for future events.
• Represent Cribl at external events and engage in prospect- and customer-facing conversations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of event and trade show planning and management experience at a technology company, preferably in the software industry.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience using marketing tools (e.g., Marketo, Looker).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.
• Self-starter who can manage multiple projects independently from start to finish.
• Proactive with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work and drive deliverables with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness and excitement to travel as needed, with travel required 25-35% of the year.
