About the position

We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager for Database Marketing Strategy and Operations to join our team. This role is pivotal as we navigate through a period of growth and transformation, and it offers the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the contiguous United States. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing media strategy, planning, tactical execution, implementation, optimization, and performance analysis specifically for our consumer division. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including consumer marketing and agency partners, to ensure the successful execution of media strategies. Your ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while fostering a positive working atmosphere will be crucial to your success in this role. You will report directly to the Director of Media and will be the main point of contact for all media and campaign-related issues. Your responsibilities will include managing acquisition database marketing campaigns, overseeing direct mail and email marketing efforts, and collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure effective execution of marketing strategies. You will also be tasked with analyzing media performance and providing insights to drive future campaign improvements. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the VP and Director of Marketing to develop annual media budget and quarterly media campaigns.
  • Manage all acquisition database marketing campaigns, focusing on prospect direct mail and email.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for database marketing media plans, including execution details and budget management.
  • Oversee the end-to-end direct mail and email data execution process, including list definition, A/B test design, data validation, and performance reporting.
  • Create detailed audience list requirements to support database marketing efforts in partnership with various teams.
  • Steer cohesive measurement strategy with Data Analytics for weekly telesales and cart performance reporting.
  • Analyze media performance and provide insights for ongoing improvement, leveraging marketing analytics and MMM data.
  • Contribute to media strategy presentations and research new media opportunities and technologies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Senior Marketing Manager or equivalent, with a strong background in database marketing including direct mail and email.
  • Analytical skills with experience in collecting, organizing, and disseminating significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint; SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in the telecom industry is preferred.

  • Understanding of digital media is preferred.
