About the position

The Senior Marketing Manager (ExamOne) plays a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategy for Life Insurance customer marketing at Quest Diagnostics. This position is responsible for owning key initiatives as part of the ExamOne marketing annual operating plan, which includes the development of strategic marketing plans, tactical execution, partnership with stakeholders, and budget management. The role requires a deep understanding of the life insurance market and the ability to create compelling value propositions and messaging that resonate with customers and drive engagement. In this position, the Senior Marketing Manager will deliver and continually optimize market-ready value propositions and messaging for products serving Life Insurance customers and adjacent markets. This involves developing growth strategies based on analysis of past results, learning from marketing teams, and applying industry best practices. The promotional marketing efforts will encompass a variety of channels, including sales collateral, email marketing, conferences, webinars, social media, thought leadership content, and paid media promotions. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Senior Marketing Manager will work closely with internal and external creative teams to develop all required creative assets. The manager will also drive promotional marketing growth programs through execution in close collaboration with commercial and product partners, ensuring that annual revenue growth targets are met. Performance monitoring will be a critical aspect of the role, utilizing systems to assess the effectiveness of programs and make necessary improvements. Additionally, the manager may collaborate with external partners and customers to develop co-marketing assets and provide ongoing marketing reporting to business leaders. The role also involves providing relevant market, customer, and competitive insights to inform key initiatives and the business's annual operating plan. This includes conducting market research, analyzing internal data, and partnering with the Market Research & Analytics team for new research. The Senior Marketing Manager will collaborate with various internal marketing teams, including Digital Marketing, Agile Marketing, Creative Services, and Market Research and Analytics, to ensure a cohesive marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers and helps continually optimize compelling market-ready value propositions and messaging for products serving Life Insurance customers and adjacent markets.
  • Develops growth strategies based on analysis of past results and industry best practices.
  • Creates promotional marketing materials including sales collateral, email marketing, conference materials, social media content, and paid media promotions.
  • Collaborates with internal and external creative teams to develop required creative assets.
  • Drives promotional marketing growth programs in collaboration with commercial and product partners to achieve annual revenue growth.
  • Develops performance monitoring systems to assess program effectiveness and implement improvements.
  • Collaborates with external partners and customers to develop co-marketing assets.
  • Provides ongoing marketing reporting to Marketing and Business leaders.
  • Gathers market, customer, and competitive insights to inform key initiatives and the business annual operating plan.
  • Conducts market research and analysis in partnership with the Market Research & Analytics team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a marketing role, including ownership of a promotional marketing plan in a B2B setting.
  • 5+ years of experience in life insurance or a similar B2B market is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving results and accountability.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work through change in a matrixed organization.
  • Strategic mindset with success in translating market trends into growth strategies.
  • Collaborative approach to drive alignment with stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.
