About the position

The Senior Marketing Manager, Foot & Ankle at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for overseeing the US downstream marketing of the Foot & Ankle product portfolio. This role involves managing critical product lines, executing marketing strategies, and collaborating with sales teams to drive growth and profitability. The position requires a strong focus on business analytics, product launches, and relationship building with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage critical product lines and develop strategic portfolio recommendations.
  • Achieve annual US business plan objectives including sales, net income, and gross profit.
  • Lead and execute impactful US product launches, including pricing strategy and promotional planning.
  • Create and execute marketing activities for national and regional professional society conferences.
  • Partner with Sales Teams to gather customer insights and align product strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key business partners to deliver results.
  • Identify targeting opportunities and communicate business enhancements through analysis.
  • Cultivate positive relationships between marketing and sales teams.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • A Masters or advanced degree, such as an MBA, is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years' combined progressive business experience in Marketing, Product Development, R&D, or Sales is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical device or healthcare regulated environment is preferred.
  • Orthopedics experience, specifically in Foot and Ankle, is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment is required.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful business plans is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment and make informed decisions is required.
  • Experience in a matrixed organization, influencing without authority is required.
  • Prior experience leading medical device product lines is preferred.

  • Experience interacting with senior management is preferred.
