About the position

As a Senior Marketing Manager for the Global Renal Digital Health Platform at Baxter, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of kidney care through innovative digital health solutions. This position is integral to Baxter's Digital Health Marketing organization within the Renal Care Global Business Unit, which is focused on delivering a comprehensive digital health ecosystem that empowers dialysis patients and healthcare providers. You will be part of a team that has recently been recognized with the Global Baxter Chairman's award for Innovation, highlighting the importance of your contributions to the company's mission. Your responsibilities will include leading the formulation and assessment of new product development opportunities, utilizing data-driven market assessments and business cases to advance ideas through the product pipeline. You will oversee the launch readiness for digital solutions that enhance workflow efficiencies for clinicians managing peritoneal dialysis patients. This role requires collaboration with various functional areas, including Research and Development, Regulatory, Sales, and Medical, to develop marketing plans that address customer needs and uncover new opportunities. In this position, you will be responsible for creating launch assets, training materials, and go-to-market resources, ensuring that all regions and countries are prepared for product launches. Your scope of responsibility will encompass both existing product lines and the introduction of new products, including solutions that integrate clinical information systems with the Sharesource digital tools. Responsibilities

  • Formulate and assess white-space, exploratory, and new product development opportunities.
  • Develop data-driven market assessments, business cases, and product concepts to advance ideas through the pipeline.
  • Lead launch readiness efforts for digital solutions and services that enhance workflow efficiencies for clinicians.
  • Develop marketing plans and uncover new opportunities based on customer needs in collaboration with other functional areas.
  • Create launch assets, training materials, and go-to-market resources, driving launch readiness activities for various regions and countries.
  • Manage the existing product portfolio and introduce new product lines, including workflow and interoperability solutions.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 3-6 years of experience in marketing, specifically within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with EMR data integration solutions or services.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage in a matrix environment.
  • Proven experience in early-stage innovation in the digital health space using customer-centric approaches.
  • Demonstrated success in preparing regions/markets for product launches, including business case assessments and training delivery.
  • Solid understanding of market trends, financial data, and customer needs, along with competitive intelligence analysis.
  • Proven skills in messaging, branding, creative product development, and go-to-market planning.
  • Strong results orientation with solid financial and business acumen.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional and global stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in renal replacement therapies or similar product/therapy marketing and sales.
  • Prior experience in software applications in healthcare or consumer healthcare.
  • Education or experience in software product management or computer science.
  • Experience in a chronic disease space, particularly in dialysis.
