About the position

Upsolve is seeking an innovative Senior Marketing Manager to spearhead our growth strategy and execution. This role is pivotal in accelerating our mission to help low-income Americans overcome debt and improve their financial health. You will be responsible for managing and scaling our marketing efforts, optimizing our content strategy, forging strategic partnerships, and driving overall organizational growth. You will work closely with our executive team to develop and implement innovative strategies that expand our reach and impact. This position reports directly to the CEO, and while working hours are flexible, they should overlap significantly with East Coast hours. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in growth marketing and leadership, with a proven track record of driving substantial user acquisition and engagement in a mission-driven organization. You will possess a deep understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and data analytics. Your passion for fintech and commitment to social impact will be essential in navigating the complexities of scaling a nonprofit organization. Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Director of Content and marketing team.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies that align with Upsolve's mission and goals.
  • Identify new growth opportunities and prioritize initiatives that drive user acquisition and engagement.
  • Track and analyze data on site traffic, tool conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
  • Use insights to optimize marketing campaigns and improve user experience.
  • Oversee and coordinate all marketing activities, including SEO, Youtube, and Tiktok.
  • Work closely with the executive team, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for growth initiatives.
  • Communicate progress and results effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in tech growth marketing, preferably for a D2C company.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading marketing campaigns and partnerships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Experience with Youtube.
  • Experience with SEO.
  • Familiarity with data tracking tools and platforms.
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as Metabase, Amplitude, and Ahrefs.
  • Familiarity with and affinity toward generative AI is a plus.
