About the position

The Senior Marketing Manager at AXA XL is responsible for driving external market visibility and supporting business goals through integrated marketing strategies. This role involves collaborating with senior business leaders to develop and implement marketing plans for key growth areas, particularly in Mid-Market and Wholesale Solutions. The position requires expertise in digital marketing, event planning, and project management to enhance brand visibility and support sales efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with underwriting and distribution leaders to develop Business Unit/product line specific marketing plans to support business goals and sales pipeline.
  • Develop innovative integrated campaigns to launch or promote different products using various marketing tools and channels.
  • Plan and oversee market events such as regional broker/client councils and industry conferences to drive engagement and promote brand visibility.
  • Support sales and relationship-building activities with relevant marketing communications and digital support activities.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Proactively track results and metrics to demonstrate success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Write/edit marketing copy to produce engaging content and collateral material.
  • Effectively represent the Marketing function as a strategic partner at internal business meetings and external industry events.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in progressive marketing roles, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Proven ability to plan, collaborate, and execute across marketing disciplines including digital and content marketing.
  • Outstanding strategic thinking and ability to translate business objectives into effective marketing plans.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage time-critical projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with leaders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and marketing performance metrics.
  • Preferred experience in marketing automation systems such as Eloqua, Cvent, Salesforce, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
