In this position, you will leverage data-driven insights to enhance the shopping experience across our extensive catalog and website. Your contributions will be essential in shaping strategies that align with customer preferences and market trends, ensuring that Uline remains a leader in the shipping, industrial, and packaging materials industry. As a Senior Marketing Operations Analyst, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers and the Creative team to curate items for our 800+ page catalog. This involves a thorough consideration of inventory levels, customer preferences, and competitive pricing. You will also be responsible for researching industry trends and market shifts, providing strategic and financial recommendations that drive improvements in our offerings. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you generate reports that translate customer behavior insights into actionable plans. This role requires a keen understanding of retail merchandise planning and financial planning, as well as the ability to summarize complex analytics and communicate your findings concisely to various stakeholders. Your insights will help shape the future of Uline's marketing operations and contribute to our ongoing success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and the Creative team to curate items for our 800+ page catalog, considering inventory, customer preferences, and pricing.
  • Research industry trends, competitive pricing, and market shifts.
  • Offer strategic and financial recommendations to drive improvements.
  • Generate reports that translate customer behavior insights into actionable plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of retail merchandise planning or retail financial planning experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; Access experience a plus.
  • Ability to summarize analytics and communicate findings concisely.
