About the position
The Senior Master Controls HVAC Technician at International Support Group (ISG) is responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment across various government facilities. This role requires expertise in HVAC systems, particularly in master controls, and involves travel to different states, often at short notice, which may include extended stays away from home.
Responsibilities
- Installs new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Inspects and performs equipment repairs and replacements
- Performs routine preventative maintenance
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields
- Master controls experience is a must
- Boiler Operator license preferred
- NATE or Niagra certification is a plus
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance with HVAC systems and general facility maintenance
- Good communication, paperwork, and customer service skills
- Must possess HVAC/EPA licenses
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Possesses strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Possesses a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
