These devices are crucial for guiding health decisions for both patients and healthcare providers. In this role, you will leverage your extensive engineering experience to contribute to the design and development of complex mechanical products and systems. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization through prototyping and into production. Your expertise in motion systems, mechatronics, and robotics will be essential as you work on opto-mechanical designs that require precision and accuracy, particularly in the realm of micro-optics. You will also utilize your proficiency in 3D CAD software to create intricate opto-electro-mechanical assemblies, ensuring that designs are scalable and economically viable for mass production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on medical devices, consumer electronics, or AR/VR systems. Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping and common machining tools, as well as familiarity with 3D printing technologies, will be highly beneficial.
