About the position

We currently have an opening for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our Apex, NC office serving biotechnology, pharmaceutical, commercial, industrial, research facility, and semiconductor clients in the Southern Atlantic Region. The successful candidate will have experience working in multi-disciplinary project teams, coordinating with subconsultants, successfully engaging with and satisfying clients, and be excited by the opportunity to expand and grow our business.

Requirements

• BSME and 5 -10 years of experience in HVAC and Mechanical system design.
• A Professional Engineering license is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and other software design tools, as well as familiarity with current good engineering design practices.
• A self-starter with self-management, technical and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to coordinate with different engineering disciplines.

Nice-to-haves

• LEED-AP preferred.
• Experience in the Life Sciences field and in Project Management is preferred.
