About the position

The Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer will be responsible for designing HVAC systems for various building types, including healthcare, commercial, and educational facilities. This full-time permanent position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, particularly in HVAC design, and offers opportunities for professional growth within a stable work environment.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems for buildings including healthcare, commercial, and school projects.
• Perform HVAC calculations using company software.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure design specifications are met.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-20+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in an MEP Firm.
• 5+ years of experience designing HVAC systems.
• EIT or PE certification in Maryland preferred.
• Strong written and communication skills.
