About the position
The Senior Mixed Methods UX Researcher at Workato will play a crucial role in conducting research to inform product decisions in the Enterprise Automation and LLM Agentic sectors. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and execute both quantitative and qualitative research throughout the product development cycle, ultimately enhancing user experience and driving business impact.
Responsibilities
- Conduct studies to inform product decisions in Enterprise Automation and LLM Agentic sectors.
- Work across Product, Design, and Engineering teams to design, execute, and share research throughout product development cycles.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to identify and prioritize research opportunities.
- Own the end-to-end research process, including defining research questions, scoping projects, and delivering insights.
- Explore innovative approaches when working on genAI features.
- Lead discussions about the Research team's internal processes and leverage LLM and Automation to increase productivity.
Requirements
- 6+ years of industrial experience in user experience research (or 3+ years with a PhD).
- Expertise in mixed-method research with strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
- Experience in leveraging data analysis to influence product decisions.
- Technical background or willingness to understand technical challenges.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Medium coding fluency.
- Familiarity with genAI concepts and recent trends.
- Experience working on B2B or enterprise-facing products.
- Experience in fast-moving startups or mid-size companies.
