About the position

KPMG is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to join its Tax Ignition Products group. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, ensuring they meet user requirements and industry standards. The position emphasizes collaboration with UI/UX designers and participation in code reviews, while also focusing on application security and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement application features that align with user requirements
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Ensure all mobile applications are secure and comply with the latest industry standards
• Integrate RESTful APIs and other backend services into mobile applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum three years recent experience in mobile application development such as iOS and/or Android
• Proficiency with mobile development frameworks such as Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, React Native
• Must have published mobile applications on the Apple and Google stores
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, mobile software architectures, mobile security best practices and performance optimization
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud services such as Azure
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
