The Senior Mobile Developer at Delta Air Lines will be responsible for developing innovative features for iOS native applications that support Delta crew members in their operations. This role emphasizes collaboration with technical architects and team members to define technical solutions that ensure high-quality, reliable, and reusable systems. The developer will focus on creating a superior customer experience through effective communication and teamwork, while adhering to best practices in software development and information security.
Responsibilities
- Build innovative features on iOS native applications for Delta crew members.
- Define technical solutions that create resilient and automated systems.
- Ensure defect-free delivery of solutions with a focus on reusability, reliability, and quality.
- Collaborate closely with technical architects and squad team members.
- Contribute to discussions and support team efforts in a collaborative setting.
Requirements
- Highly skilled in Mobile technologies (iOS, Swift, XCUI, SwiftUI).
- Good understanding of design patterns and cloud-native technologies.
- Excellent understanding of development practices across development/QA disciplines.
- Knowledge of Software Development best practices, concepts, and methodologies.
- Experience with Test Driven Development and quality forward development practices.
- Ability to develop secure applications adhering to information security best practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness in professional settings.
- Ability to work well in a team and contribute positively to discussions.
- Commitment to increasing knowledge and skills in technical areas.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Experience with CoreData.
- Familiarity with AWS and Node.js.
- Previous airline experience.
