About the position

The Senior Mobile Developer at Delta Air Lines will be responsible for building innovative features on iOS native applications that support Delta crew members in their operations. This role focuses on creating resilient and automated systems, ensuring defect-free delivery of solutions with an emphasis on reusability, reliability, and quality. The developer will collaborate closely with technical architects and team members to enhance the customer experience through technology-driven innovation.

Responsibilities

• Build innovative features on iOS native applications for Delta crew members.
• Define technical solutions that create resilient and automated systems.
• Ensure defect-free delivery of solutions with a focus on reusability, reliability, and quality.
• Collaborate with technical architects and peers across the IT organization.
• Work closely with squad team members to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• Highly skilled in Mobile technologies (iOS, Swift, XCUI, SwiftUI).
• Good understanding of design patterns and cloud-native technologies.
• Excellent understanding of development practices across development/QA disciplines.
• Knowledge of Software Development best practices, concepts, and methodologies.
• Experience with Test Driven Development.
• Focus on quality forward development practices with automation for continuous quality.
• Ability to develop secure apps adhering to best practices for information security.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• Commitment to increasing technical knowledge and skills.
• Solution-oriented mindset.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
• Experience with CoreData.
• Familiarity with AWS and Node.js.
