About the position

The Senior Mobile Device Management Consultant will play a crucial role in facilitating data collection through cloud computing and mobile technology, supporting nationwide field operations, and improving government efficiency. This position involves designing and integrating mobile device solutions, conducting gap analyses, and collaborating with government teams to align technical solutions with operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate comprehensive data collection using cloud computing, mobile technology, and data analytics
  • Support nationwide field operations, enabling coverage of hard-to-reach populations
  • Improve government efficiency with modern technologies that reduce complexity and drive right-size scaling
  • Design and integrate mobile device solutions, field IT infrastructure, and identity management systems
  • Develop and implement an integrated operations center and help desk system for real-time monitoring of census operations
  • Conduct comprehensive gap analysis and risk assessments to ensure systems meet operational requirements
  • Plan and execute rigorous testing to validate solution interoperability, scalability, and performance
  • Collaborate closely with government teams and stakeholders to align technical solutions with operational needs
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and solution architecture design recommendations

Requirements

  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • BA/BS with 5+ years experience leading projects in relevant skill areas
  • Creative problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively
  • Experience working in a government or public sector environment is a plus
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field desired
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Cisco, PMP) are a plus
