As a Senior Mobile Engineer specializing in Android at Capital One, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative mobile solutions that enhance customer experiences. Responsibilities

• Develop Android client code solutions that align with Product Strategy and adhere to engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, and Product Owners to create engaging customer experiences.
• Participate actively in team agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of commitments.
• Advocate for the mobile platform within internal and external developer communities.
• Stay updated on mobile development technologies, including Kotlin and Swift.
• Mentor junior to mid-level team members.
• Engage with developers across various disciplines to enhance collaboration.
• Lead the delivery of major components and platform needs in partnership with Senior Engineers and Architects.
• Share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teams.
• Identify technical obstacles early and collaborate with the team to find solutions.
• Review pull requests to ensure adherence to Kotlin and other language idioms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internships)
• At least 2 years of experience building Android applications
• At least 2 years of experience with Kotlin

• 3+ years of experience building Android applications
• 3+ years of experience with Kotlin
• 1+ years of experience in open source frameworks
• 1+ years of experience with Agile practices
