As a Product Owner on a Mission Systems' program, you have the opportunity to directly impact the world around you and contribute to classified programs and technologies you are passionate about. Our small agile teams adapt to evolving customer and warfighter needs. In this role, you will join a small, highly-focused team working to develop and maintain signal-processing applications for use in a real-time operational environment. The team members are multi-disciplined and contribute across all phases of systems engineering, software development, integration and test, and metrics. The team works closely with operations personnel to meet unique and continuously evolving development needs. You will work with the Release Train Engineer, System Architect, and Chief Engineer on the development of cloud-based software architecture and technologies. You will direct the product team and provide technical direction and design inputs to agile software development teams and other engineering personnel. A key requirement for this role is the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Release Train Engineer, System Architect, and Chief Engineer on the development of cloud-based software architecture and technologies.
  • Direct the product team.
  • Provide technical direction and design inputs to agile software development teams and other engineering personnel.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • Experience as a product owner, software architect, lead software engineer, or similar software leadership role.
  • Familiar with algorithm development, SIGINT, digital communications or digital signal processing software.
  • Software development lifecycle experience using the SAFe Agile methodology.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

  • Experience with test automation.
