About the position

The Senior Named Account Executive will be responsible for driving sales into named accounts across the Austrian market for Cloudflare's solutions. This role involves strategic selling activities, including proactive penetration of target large accounts, detailed account planning, relationship building, and leading effective sales campaigns to successful closure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology solutions sales, particularly in software, and will engage with senior-level decision makers to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales into named accounts across the Austrian market.
  • Engage in strategic selling activities to penetrate target large accounts.
  • Conduct detailed account planning and relationship building.
  • Lead effective sales campaigns to successful closure.
  • Manage contract negotiations with clients.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline for tracking progress.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of direct B2B selling experience and selling to named accounts.
  • Relevant direct experience and relationships within large corporate enterprise accounts in Austria.
  • Direct experience selling network security and/or CDN solutions and services preferred.
  • Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles.
  • Basic understanding of computer networking and how the internet works.
  • Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS is a plus.
  • Experience being part of an early sales team for a US-based SaaS company is highly preferred.
  • Aptitude for learning technical concepts and terms.
