About the position

The Senior National Commercial Escrow Officer at First American is responsible for managing commercial real estate transactions from initiation to post-closing. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance customer service and operational efficiency while driving the development of new title operations processes. The position is fully remote, requiring effective communication and data-driven decision-making to improve processes continuously.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial real estate transactions from open to post-closing.
• Collaborate with underwriting, transaction management, and other team members to deliver superior customer service.
• Act as the primary contact for day-to-day escrow matters on all real estate transactions.
• Utilize technology and virtual communication to work effectively within a remote team.
• Leverage data to inform decision-making and facilitate ongoing process improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in running and closing commercial real estate deals from start to finish.
• Regional or national commercial title experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven history of delivering exceptional customer experience.
• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of relevant experience required.
• 4-6 years' experience as an Escrow Officer.
• Successful history of managing and serving customers.
