Through strategic planning and a customer-focused approach, the Senior National Sales Manager ensures the company meets and exceeds its sales goals while adapting to changing market dynamics. In the day-to-day operations, the Senior National Sales Manager leads sales negotiations by evaluating inquiries, negotiating rates, issuing proposals and contracts, and processing bookings to secure group business in line with departmental policies. Cultivating client relationships is key, as the manager develops and grows both new and existing accounts to surpass revenue targets through proactive prospecting, sales calls, and client engagement activities, including site inspections. Market representation is another critical aspect of the role, where the Senior National Sales Manager represents the company at tradeshows and industry events, maintaining brand consistency and fostering relationships with potential clients. Revenue optimization is achieved by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to maximize revenue by selling all hotel facets, aligning sales strategies with market trends. Additionally, the manager executes strategic plans for assigned territories, ensuring alignment with departmental goals to maintain a competitive edge. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educational experience
  • 5 years of prior relevant experience in Hotel Sales, Hospitality Sales, or Convention Sales
