About the position

The Senior National Sales Manager, Metabolics & Ketogenics, is responsible for leading sales programs for the Metabolics & Ketogenic categories at Danone North America. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of Territory Managers, and collaborating with various functions to ensure competitive positioning and alignment with business objectives. The position aims to drive sales growth and establish Danone as a leader in Specialty Nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the sales strategy for the Metabolics & Ketogenics category.
• Lead the sales team to achieve revenue goals, including sales growth and margin mix.
• Manage the operating and expense budget for the sales division.
• Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
• Collaborate with the VP Sales and BU Director to align sales, marketing, and medical plans with business objectives.
• Conduct performance management and reviews for Territory Managers.
• Create and publish monthly business scorecards to track performance against goals.
• Lead recruitment and selection efforts for new sales representatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-7 years of experience in pediatric pharmaceutical, medical device, or nutritional sales.
• 3 years of previous sales management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Dietary experience in sales or education is preferred.
• Knowledge of key markets is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Meta Keto Access, Coverage, and Fulfillment is preferred.
• Proficient experience in Microsoft Office.
