About the position

The Senior .NET Architect will be responsible for refactoring an existing custom .NET/C# Human Resources software suite hosted on Azure. This role requires collaboration with Human Resource professionals to understand their needs and ensure the software meets the requirements of the agency and its constituents. The position involves direct communication with project sponsors and necessitates a strong understanding of .NET technologies and Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Refactor the existing custom .NET/C# Human Resources software suite hosted on Azure.
• Collaborate with Human Resource professionals to understand their needs and terminology.
• Communicate effectively with project sponsors both verbally and in writing.
• Work on integrating with Ohio's ERP (OAKS) if applicable.

Requirements

• Proficiency in .NET Framework (4.7.2 and higher) and .NET Core (2.2 and higher).
• Experience with Visual Studio (2022/2019).
• Knowledge of SQL Server 2016.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC 5 and MVC Core.
• Experience with Entity Framework 6.2 including LINQ to SQL and Entity Framework Core.
• Proficiency in Kendo UI Controls for ASP.NET MVC.
• Strong skills in JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS 3.0.
• Proficiency in C# (7.0 and higher).
• Experience with WCF/Web API.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio Unit Testing.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for build and release using DevOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of Git source code repository (2+ years).
• Experience with Azure App Service (2 years).
• Familiarity with Azure Blob Storage (less than 1 year).

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience with HR applications or processes.
• Experience working on an interface with Ohio's ERP (OAKS).
