About the position

TackleAI is a Chicagoland start-up software company established to create logical solutions to business challenges. Our diverse team of developers and data scientists combine powerful machine learning with computer vision and proprietary neural networks to turn unstructured documents into intelligible and immediately accessible data. As a Senior .NET Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented developers in creating innovative AI products and services for our clients. You will also collaborate with other engineers, product managers, designers, and researchers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet user needs and business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of developers in creating innovative AI products and services.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and researchers.
  • Design, code, test, and deploy scalable and reliable software systems.
  • Ensure high-quality software solutions that meet user needs and business goals.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in developing front-end and back-end applications using .NET Core and C#.
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core or Blazor, JavaScript, Web APIs, REST, ORMs, GIT and SQL Server.
  • Experience in working with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP or AWS.
  • Experience in using agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in a Computer Science or Engineering related field.
  • Exposure to AI techniques such as machine learning, natural language processing, or computer vision.
  • Experience with other languages such as Python, Rust and C++.
  • DevOps experience, Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes.
