About the position

Cognizant is seeking a highly qualified Senior .NET Developer with expertise in React or Angular to join its Digital Engineering practice. This role involves developing scalable enterprise applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture and a passion for creating maintainable code, contributing to the success of the team and satisfaction of clients.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver on project goals.
• Provide business solutions and architecture guidance to the development teams.
• Possess excellent software architecture design, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Continuously improve development processes and workflows.
• Ensure all best practices, standards, coding principles, and unit/automation test strategies are followed within the teams; ensure the code coverage and sonar violations are periodically reviewed.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience as a .NET lead.
• Hands-on experience in creating complex .NET Microservices and .NET Core applications.
• Experience building UI services using Angular or React.
• Familiarity with Azure, Functions, App Services, Spring, and Event architecture (Event grid, Event hub).
