About the position

The Senior .NET Developer position at Trillium Professional involves working in a hybrid environment in Boston for a duration of 6+ months. The role focuses on software development within a team, emphasizing collaboration, technical guidance, and adaptability to challenges. The developer will engage in all phases of the software development life cycle, utilizing agile methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables and effective project management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development efforts as a member of a software development team.
• Provide technical design assistance and resolve technical issues for team members.
• Adapt strategies to improve efficiency and overcome challenges.
• Engage in all aspects of the software development life cycle following agile methodologies.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy phases of development projects.
• Design database schemas, conceptual data models, UI workflows, and application architectures.
• Write optimal SQL queries and stored procedures for database operations.
• Apply Object-Oriented Design and Programming to build component-based middle tier RESTful web services.
• Implement User-Centered Design concepts to create modern user interfaces.
• Gather information and feedback from end users to develop project requirements.
• Conduct project design sessions and design solutions for current and future project needs.
• Perform reviews and integration testing to ensure quality of project development efforts.
• Assign and ensure timely completion of project tasks and milestones.
• Create, archive, and update all project documentation, including design, development, and deployment documentation.
• Ensure software quality meets industry standards and security measures.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Help control project scope and maintain project timelines.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and communication skills.

Requirements

• Minimum BS/CS degree with 8+ years of hands-on experience.
• At least 3 years of Front End development experience with Angular.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with .NET Web API web services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Proven experience in design, development, and implementation of high throughput RESTful web services using C# and .NET Web API framework.
• Strong experience in data modeling and problem-solving skills.
• Very strong in Object-Oriented Design and Programming (OOP & OOD).
• Very strong with C#, Entity Framework, and ASP.NET framework.
• Expertise in relational database design and building stored procedures using Postgres and/or SQL Server.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
