About the position
Genesis10 is seeking a Senior .Net Developer to work independently on application architecture for a client in the financial industry. This role involves addressing compliance and liquidity risks associated with financial reporting, specifically related to the FR 2052A regulations. The developer will be responsible for enhancing, debugging, supporting, maintaining, and testing software applications in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Work independently as a Senior .Net Developer.
- Address compliance and liquidity risks related to FR 2052A reporting.
- Split interest and principal portions of payments data for accurate reporting.
- Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain, and test software applications.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience with C#, Python, .NET framework, .Net core, SQL, WCF/Web Services, WPF/WinForms, Visual Studio IDE.
- Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server) and pub/sub MQ platforms.
- Proficiency in .Net Framework 4.0, .Net Core, Asnc-Await, TPL library, multitasking, MVVM concepts, and design patterns.
- Experience with test-driven development, automated unit and integration tests.
- Familiarity with SpecFlow and CI-CD tools including Git, Jenkins, Datical, and Ansible.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a distributed team environment.
- Strong object-oriented concepts and experience in enterprise development.
- Hands-on experience with microservice architecture and GUI development.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, React JS, Ag Grid Iron, Python, and Groovy.
- Experience with ZeroMQ, MSMQ, AMPS, or comparable MQ systems.
- Familiarity with Nunit, BDD, SpecFlow testing, Infragistics UI components, and Autosys or comparable Job Scheduler.
- Experience with Actor model/service fabric and previous experience in the financial industry.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with Agile-driven development and Atlassian tools.
- Experience with no-SQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
