About the position

The Senior .NET Developer position at Trillium Professional involves working in a hybrid environment in Boston for a duration of 6+ months. The role focuses on software development within a team, emphasizing collaboration, technical guidance, and adaptability to challenges. The developer will engage in all phases of the software development life cycle, utilizing agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet user needs and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development efforts as a member of a software development team.
• Provide technical design assistance and resolve technical issues for team members.
• Adapt strategies to improve efficiency and overcome challenges.
• Engage in all aspects of the software development life cycle following agile methodologies.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy software projects.
• Design database schemas, conceptual data models, UI workflows, and application architectures.
• Write optimal SQL queries and stored procedures for database performance.
• Apply Object-Oriented Design and Programming to build RESTful web services.
• Implement User-Centered Design principles to enhance user interfaces.
• Gather user feedback to understand and develop project requirements.
• Conduct project design sessions and create flexible solutions for current and future needs.
• Perform reviews and integration testing to ensure project quality.
• Assign and complete project tasks in a timely manner to meet milestones.
• Create, archive, and update all project documentation.
• Ensure software quality and adherence to industry standards and security measures.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Help control project scope and maintain communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of hands-on experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of Front End development experience with Angular.
• At least 4 years of experience with .NET Web API web services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing high throughput RESTful web services using C# and .NET Web API framework.
• Strong data modeling and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in Object Oriented Design and Programming (OOP & OOD).
• Proficient in C#, Entity Framework, and ASP.NET framework.
• Expertise in relational database design and building stored procedures using Postgres and/or SQL Server.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
