About the position

The Senior .NET FullStack Developer role focuses on leading the development of backend services primarily using .NET Core, while also engaging in modernization projects that involve breaking down legacy code into containerized microservices. The position requires a hands-on coder with experience in Azure cloud deployment and a collaborative approach to ensure a cohesive user experience with front-end components.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of backend services primarily in .NET Core, ensuring efficient, high-performance code for microservices.
  • Work with modern front-end frameworks, ideally React, to support full-stack functionality and collaborate with front-end developers.
  • Build and maintain C# microservices that integrate seamlessly with other backend services and front-end components, focusing on scalability and reliability.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes to support microservice architecture.
  • Adhere to and advocate for code quality standards, including unit testing, peer reviews, and best practices in secure and maintainable coding.
  • Spearhead efforts to break down a monolithic architecture into containerized microservices, leveraging expertise in modernization and migration best practices.
  • Design and implement robust deployment pipelines on Azure, utilizing tools and practices to automate testing, building, and deployment processes.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, autonomous approach, taking ownership of tasks and driving projects forward with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborate closely with team members across various functions, providing mentorship to junior developers and contributing to a positive team culture focused on quality and innovation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a .NET Full Stack Developer with hands-on coding skills.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET Core, Microservices, and React.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure cloud deployment.
  • Familiarity with modernization projects, particularly breaking down legacy code into containerized microservices.
  • Ability to design and implement deployment pipelines on Azure.

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.
