University Information Technology has an opening for a NetDevOps Engineer within its Common Infrastructure Services department. This position will support equipment automation, information collection and reporting, and workflow solutions, as well as participate in the design, deployment, continued development, integration, maintenance, and validation for network automation and related systems. The role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the global network infrastructure and involves collaboration with various teams to develop scalable network designs and solutions. The Senior Network Engineer will also be responsible for preparing documentation related to work orders, purchase orders, and budget paperwork, ensuring that all network systems are effectively managed and maintained. The Senior Network Engineer will perform tasks associated with the engineering of network systems used in data communications services, including fiber optic, twisted pair, IP systems, switches, routers, and LAN/WAN systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and presenting network-impacting requirements to internal application groups, ensuring that the network infrastructure can support the growing needs of the organization.
