About the position

The position involves designing, implementing, and managing network solutions with a focus on Aruba ClearPass Network Access Control and IOT/OT Security. The role requires extensive experience in networking and security technologies, with responsibilities that include troubleshooting, policy creation, and integration of network systems. The individual will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will work independently while also providing guidance to less experienced colleagues. The role is critical in ensuring the performance and security of the network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage all Campus Networks and Network Access Control technologies.
• Design, implement, and manage all IOT/OT Network Security technologies including policies, integrations, and segmentation.
• Evaluate alternative technologies and architectures in relation to AMAT Enterprise network infrastructure needs.
• Interface with management and vendors to develop and implement innovative solutions to meet business requirements.
• Design, support, and troubleshoot existing and growing Network environments.
• Create Low Level Design, High Level Design, Implementation Plan, and Acceptance Test Plan documents in accordance with standards.
• Design and manage the rollout of critical network infrastructures.
• Perform analytical, technical, cost analysis, and CAPEX development work in the planning, design, installation, and ongoing administration and management of AMAT core data networks.
• Ensure that network infrastructure is fully documented and performing as required for internal and customer SLA guarantees and expectations by means of specific metrics and measurements.
• Provide technical expertise to Business groups to develop innovative solutions and strategies to enhance the overall experience.
• Act as engineering escalation contact and work closely with operations team on transition services from Engineering to sustaining operations.

Requirements

• Proven design/engineering excellence and expertise in LAN, Aruba ClearPass Network Access Control, IOT/OT Security (Armis), WAN, Wireless, Firewalls, and Advanced Networking Technologies with at least 10 years of relevant experience in networking and security technologies.
• Superior knowledge, skills, and experience with Cisco and Aruba switching/routing hardware, software protocols, and advanced network solutions.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in networking technologies such as Ethernet, Dot1x, Guest Captive Portal, VLANs, HSRP/VRRP Multicast, ACLs, VPNs, OSPF, and BGP.
• Experience with working on Products such as Aruba (64xx, 29xx, 63xx) and Cisco Campus Switching with centralized orchestration.
• Experience in using network management tools for performance, tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
• Working knowledge of security technologies and concepts.
• CCNP/CCNA (Routing/Switching) Certification; Aruba, Armis, and Security Certification is a plus.
