About the position

The Senior Network Engineer position at Randstad US involves managing and securing the network infrastructure in Bensalem, PA. The engineer will be responsible for maintaining hardware and software components of LAN and WAN systems, monitoring network performance, and collaborating with vendors to ensure optimal network functionality.

Responsibilities

• Assess network needs and collaborate with vendors to propose hardware, software, and service solutions for management approval.
• Continuously monitor the company's networks for any issues that could impact service quality.
• Ensure the proper configuration and maintenance of software/hardware solutions to monitor or resolve network issues.
• Report network outages or vulnerabilities to management and provide recommendations for issue resolution and security improvements.
• Implement and enforce network security policies, report unauthorized access, and ensure access is granted only to authorized personnel.
• Maintain access logs and review them regularly for any unauthorized usage.
• Carry out any additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in network administration.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
