iTalent Digital is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team of technology consultants. Our client's technology team is known for its fast-paced and innovative approach, bringing new technology to market with a focus on developing the latest in mobile technologies, scalable architecture, and enhancing the in-store client experience. This group of motivated self-starters and true team players is integral to the future success of the organization. The role is primarily remote, with a requirement to report to the San Francisco office once a week. The salary range for this position is approximately $115,000 to $140,000 annually. The Senior Network Engineer will focus on core functions of network and security support, engineering, planning, implementation, analysis, maintenance, administration, and reporting for both Retail and Corporate environments, as well as Supply Chain operations. This individual will be expected to apply solid technical, business, and problem-solving skills in various situations. Through initiative, leadership, and teamwork, the Senior Network Engineer will create productive relationships with business units and internal IT teams. The position will also involve tactical decision-making that supports the strategic direction of IT and the Network team. Key responsibilities include architecting, engineering, and supporting a network infrastructure that spans 600 stores, corporate offices, and distribution centers. The engineer will work closely with business and application owners on design, troubleshooting, support, and documentation of new application deployments and enhancements. Additionally, the role requires expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, ensuring compliance with corporate security policies, and managing internal IT initiatives and projects. The engineer will also provide day-to-day support for LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks, perform scheduled and emergency network maintenance, and manage network and security documentation. Strong customer service skills are essential, as the engineer will facilitate collaboration between project teams and clients, proactively identify and resolve network problems, and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with security policies.
