About the position

The Senior Network Engineer will work within U.S. Government classified environments, focusing on complex networking issues and providing technical expertise for deployments. This role requires strong leadership, crisis management skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to various audiences, including senior management. The position demands a current TS/SCI clearance and the ability to pass a CI Polygraph, emphasizing the importance of security and compliance in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and diagnose complex networking issues.
  • Build and test simulated networks to troubleshoot compatibility problems.
  • Collaborate with Virtual Teams on project tasks.
  • Conduct ad hoc knowledge transfers regarding systems and products.
  • Aid in the creation of standard project documentation, including test plans.
  • Support the generation of network configurations from Low-Level Designs.
  • Assist in project execution, including network staging, implementation, and handover processes.
  • Help with network upgrade and migration activities.
  • Guide the customer in deploying medium-complexity tools and Network Management Systems.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in networking.
  • CCNP certification required; CCIE is highly preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SD-WAN, SD-Access, Catalyst Center, DNA Center, and large-scale network design, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Must possess DoD TS, be SCI eligible, and able to pass a CI Polygraph.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in client-facing roles.
