About the position

The Senior Network Engineer will play a crucial role in the infrastructure team of a defense manufacturing company, focusing on the refresh and upgrade of datacenter equipment. This position requires a strong background in networking, particularly with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Juniper technologies, and a deep understanding of LAN/WAN networks and various routing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the refresh of the datacenter infrastructure.
• Upgrade Cisco, Palo Alto, and Juniper equipment within the datacenter.
• Rearchitect and refresh the enterprise/datacenter network environment.
• Work with LAN/WAN networks and various enterprise/datacenter focused protocols.

Requirements

• Experience rearchitecting and refreshing an enterprise/datacenter network environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking equipment (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper).
• Experience with routing protocols (BGP, EIRGP, OSPF).
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks.
• Willingness and ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Related certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE).
