About the position

As a Network Engineer at TEKsystems, you will play a crucial role in supporting the infrastructure that underpins the movie production and distribution process. This position requires collaboration with various engineering teams to automate processes, aid in capacity planning, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. You will be responsible for deploying and operating infrastructure on a global scale, ensuring that it is scalable, flexible, and high-performing. Your expertise will be essential in generating quality documentation related to network issues, updates, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting techniques, ensuring that all documentation is rigorously maintained and up to date. In this role, you will ensure the reliable operation of systems and infrastructure software by designing and implementing network management tools that help predict, diagnose, and resolve abnormal network behavior. You will act as a liaison between critical production engineering groups and serve as Tier 2 support for Systems, Media, Storage, and Cloud Operations Engineers. Additionally, you will interface with other Disney entities to support cross-segment workflows, file transport, and the sharing of media assets, devices, and infrastructure. The position requires a minimum of three years of experience in engineering and operations within a studio, ISP, or major enterprise network, particularly in a 24/7 environment. You will need to be available for after-hours work, weekends, and holidays, as well as provide L3 on-call support on a rotational basis. Your experience in a multi-vendor network environment and a consistent track record of implementing large-scale, mission-critical networks will be vital to your success in this role.
