Service Express is seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Senior Network Engineer. This role is pivotal within our Managed Infrastructure Service (MIS) organization, where the Senior Network Engineer will serve as a technology expert responsible for deploying and maintaining the technology necessary to meet the company's expanding IT requirements. This includes ensuring compliance with customer certifications, audit requirements, and regulatory assessments. The Senior Network Engineer will work closely with MIS Support Engineers and Internal Operations to provide specific support, ensuring alignment and focus on defined IT priorities. The primary responsibilities of this position include implementing, supporting, and maintaining networking infrastructure systems, with a strong emphasis on Cisco networking and security platforms. The engineer will be tasked with implementing and maintaining advanced Data Centre Network Technologies to enhance the security posture of the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, network segmentation, next-generation firewall and security threat protection, SD-WAN technologies, content delivery (load balancing), and monitoring and reporting tools. The role also involves full lifecycle management for all equipment within Service Express Datacentres, participation in project teams, and reviewing and assisting with the development of project deployment plans. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Senior Network Engineer will guide and mentor fellow network administrators, engineers, and project team members on related topics. Project execution will require collaboration with project managers, security management, delivery, and support teams. The engineer will oversee networking asset management, including the maintenance of component inventory and related documentation, and will develop and maintain capacity management reports and trend analysis. Maintaining comprehensive documentation for the networking infrastructure is also a critical aspect of this role.
