Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Network Engineer to join our team in the DMV area. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will lead the planning, design, and maintenance of connectivity for enterprise network assets to ensure compliance and secure operations on both unclassified and classified networks (SIPR, NIPR, JWICS). You will collaborate with stakeholders to address connectivity requirements and implement necessary configurations to facilitate efficient and secure data transmission, ensuring all network switches and routers are operational, properly configured, and compliant with customer security requirements (e.g., DISA STIG). Your role will also involve ensuring regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of network switches to ensure optimal performance. You will configure, maintain, and monitor firewall, intrusion protection, and intrusion detection systems for network access control and authentication in accordance with ATO requirements, cybersecurity policies, and standards. Additionally, you will implement necessary security measures to protect specialized systems and networks from unauthorized access and cyber threats, supporting the planning and implementation of enterprise service connections among networks, systems, and applications across domains. You will facilitate connections for auditing, authentication, secure cloud computing architecture (SCCA), and Cross Domain Solutions and Guards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Collaborating with ISSOs and the Cyber Services Lead in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, you will work with other IIC members/teams to determine root cause and develop reports for stakeholder consumption. Furthermore, you will mentor and train junior staff in methods and processes for effective resolution, tuning and system optimization, alert definitions, appropriate actions, and other routine engineering activities.
