About the position

The position involves serving as a systems administrator with a focus on managing hardware and software applications in a Linux environment. The role requires extensive experience in networking technologies and the ability to support operational needs, including working additional hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for systems administration of services for hardware and software applications.
• Manage open source and virtual networking technologies.
• Work with high performance 1/10/40GbE switches and various network protocols.
• Design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
• Implement software defined networks (SDN) and wide area networks (SDWAN).
• Support operational needs which may require extended work hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of six years of system administrator experience, including experience within a Linux environment.
• Ability to work additional hours to meet client requirements.
• Minimum DOD 8140/D0D 8570 IAT Level I Certification.
• TS/SCI Eligibility with active Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph.
