About the position

The Senior Network Engineer at Stifel is responsible for the design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the company's data and application networks. This role requires a deep understanding of networking and SDWAN protocols, as well as experience in leading multiple network infrastructure projects. The position emphasizes collaboration within a team-oriented environment and aims to enhance network performance and reliability across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, optimize, and improve Cisco networking and Aruba SDWAN solutions.
• Develop, plan, and execute IT initiatives including project scope, timelines, resources, and risk assessments.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects while evaluating priorities for efficient progress.
• Monitor network performance, conduct problem-solving analysis, and implement solutions with a security-first mindset.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and third parties to ensure efficient project delivery and quality standards.
• Provide mentoring and leadership to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends and networking technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years' experience in implementing, designing, or troubleshooting data networks.
• In-depth knowledge of computer and telecommunication systems.
• Strong logic and reasoning skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex technical information.
• Experience in mentoring engineers and IT colleagues.
• Strong leadership, time management, and project management skills.
