Responsibilities

  • Design and install internal and external networks.
  • Test and evaluate network systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Mentor and lead junior network engineers and team members.
  • Implement solutions based on established guidelines and instructions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • Ten plus years of experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Solid experience with Cisco Nexus/Catalyst switches, Juniper routers and switches, Fortinet firewalls, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with WANs, encryption devices, VxLAN, multicast, BGP, OSPF, and Wireshark.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Obtain CompTIA Security+ or other DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification within the first 90 days of employment.
