About the position

The Senior Network Engineer position involves participating in and consulting on moderately complex Network Engineering initiatives. The role focuses on load balancing implementation and support, requiring collaboration with team members to resolve networking challenges and meet project deliverables. This position is essential for contributing to large-scale planning efforts related to Network Engineering projects and providing guidance to other personnel in the field.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and consult on moderately complex Network Engineering initiatives and deliverables.
• Contribute to large-scale planning efforts related to Network Engineering projects.
• Review and analyze moderately complex networking challenges requiring in-depth evaluation.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and meet project deliverables.
• Leverage understanding of network engineering functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Provide support and guidance to other Network Engineering personnel.
• Focus primarily on load balancing implementation and support.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Network Engineering experience or equivalent combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 3+ years of experience with F5 Big IP or AVI (NSX Smart Load Balancer).
• 3-5 years of hands-on load balancing experience.
• 3-5 years of general network infrastructure experience.
